Day 3... Hello from Albany, GA! Today we had the opportunity to learn from Ms. Rutha Mae Harris, a former and current Freedom Singer, educator and actress, and Ms. Eartha Watkins, a professor of music at Albany State University. We learned how many of the freedom songs from the Civil Rights movements originated from Christian hymns.
